Grenada will host the the "New Energy International conference"

Grenada will host the the "New Energy International conference". The event, which is slated for May 4-6th 2020, will take place in the Grenadian Capital of St Georges. The conference  is the brain child of the St Georges club, and marks the third year of what has now become an annual event. The St. George’s Club (“SGC”) is a non-profit organization founded on the principle of networking and building relationships that last.

The Caribbean has great economic potential and growth opportunities, which includes an educated multilingual workforce, and sophisticated financial systems. It is hoped that the international conference will serve as an excellent environment for developing and maintaining connections that last. 

The conference will be hosted  by Dr. Sergey Brilev: TV Presenter and Public figure, who has hosted the event since its inception.
Sergey Brilev’s main journalistic specialization is exclusive interviews with world leaders. In particular, his interviewees were leaders of the UN Security Council’s permanent member countries: Russian Presidents Vladimir Putin and Dmitry Medvedev, British Prime Ministers Tony Blair, Gordon Brown, and David Cameron, Chinese President Xi Jinping and Premier of the State Council Li Keqiang, US Presidents George Bush and Barack Obama, French Presidents Valery Giscard d'Estaing, Nicolas Sarkozy, and Emmanuel Macron.
Besides his journalistic work, Sergey Brilev is engaged in social and scientific activities: he leads the Bering-Bellingshausen Institute (Montevideo, Uruguay), is a member of the Council on Foreign and Defence Policy Presidium, member of the Russian International Affairs Council, the Valdai Discussion Club (Russia), and Saint George's Club (Grenada).

Mr. Brilev has also recently been appointed as the  Head of the Global Energy association. As head of the organisation, Sergey Brilev will manage the existing Global Energy Association’s projects, in addition to developing new directions. Mr Brilev has repeatedly expressed his desire to expand Global Energy activities towards the Caribbean.
As part of the conference, The Global Energy Association will bring  some of its best experts (e.g. its International Awards Committee includes Nobel prize winners) in order to discuss with local business and academic leaders regarding expansion of its partners’ network and deepening of its sustainable development agenda.This is going to be the Association’s first such outreach event in the developing world.
